Role Purpose
Reporting directly to Sofrecom Asia Managing Director, the Finance Manager is responsible for building and driving PT Sofrecom Indonesia’s financial and accounting aspects.
Main activities
S/he is expected to perform:
Financial Performance management
  • Collates, prepares and interpreters reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Provides and presents analysis on monthly financial performance at national and regional level to the Headquarter
  • Provides analytical support in evaluating and improving variances and processes
  • Controls income, cash flow and expenditure
    • Manages other departments to ensure financial-related operational activities are well executed and monitored.
  • Participates to the creation and consolidation of regional finance report
    • Plans, organizes, and reviews the installation of all accounting and financial procedures
Budget and Forecasting
  • Manages forecasts and annual budget process across all functions
  • Sourcing and analysing of revenues and costs.
Account management 
  • Provides ad hoc reports as and when required from all levels of the business
  • Provides information to support process improvement and consistency across functions
  • Provides advice and guidance on financial implications of proposed projects and initiatives
  • Provides support to all relevant functions in Sofrecom as Business Partner to manage the financial performance and to improve company’s financial capability, including ad hoc projects to provide analytical information to support decision making process.
Taxation management 
  • Supports our tax consultant for income tax, withholding taxes, Value Added tax
  • Prepares and monitor the transactions relative to the payment of those taxes
Competencies and skills
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a master’s degree level or equivalent in related field,
  • significant experience (8-10-year) in similar role in an international, multi-location consulting business, financial experience in an International company in Indonesia
  • strong understanding of the application of local labor and finance laws and government requirement
  • superior analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • capacity to convince, to federate and to negotiate
  • team oriented, with communicating, relational and listening qualities,
    multilingual skills, : Bahasa, strong written and oral communication skills in English, French an advantage
  • result oriented, well organized and pragmatic
  • MS Office literate
  • proven professionalism and ethics, adhere to a strict code of confidentiality
    ability to work in a multicultural environment and open to short business trips abroad
