The Position
KBIJ is currently looking to hire a Sales, Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Jakarta. The primary responsibilities of this position is to coordinate the company’s sales & marketing team in all sales and marketing activities related to originating new clients and to develop the company’s business and relationship network.
 
Responsibilities
This position will provide support for activities related to originating new clients, coordinating events, marketing and communications, developing business and expanding relationship network. Detailed responsibilities include;
  • Manage the company’s client relationship management report/system to effectively track key relationships, target companies and active marketing pipeline
  • Develop and maintain business development related reports on deal generation activities, effectiveness and impact
  • Work with sales & marketing team to identify and qualify new clients and referral sources (business director, risk director, head of business and head of risk) across various lending institutions.
  • Liaise with senior management team to communicate and coordinate business development; proactively identify opportunities and sources for business development process enhancement to improve efficiency
  • Support creation and prioritization of target client lists in collaboration with the sales & marketing team
  • Identify conferences, seminars, trade shows and other networking events to raise the company profile
  • Maintain the company’s website and social media profile(s) and utilize all of them to manage external communications
  • Understand the company’s products, philosophy and value add capabilities to help communicate them across various clients
  • Collaborate with members of the office administrative team (legal, operations and finance) completing general office responsibilities
  • Manage special projects and ad hoc requests including planning, coordinating and supporting internal and external events

Background and Credentials
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, communications or the equivalent combination of training and working experience
  • A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in supporting sales, business development or marketing initiatives (preferably from banking industries)
  • Experience in managing client relationship management report/system, marketing events and social media profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Experience with a variety of computer tools (e.g., email marketing software, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Web editing)
  • Excellent writing skills and proof reading skills are required
  • Track record of personal accomplishments
