You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of key travel agents, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders as well as the frontline teams within travel agents. You will liaise between travel agents and cross-functional internal teams to ensure sales targets are met and overall operational efficiency. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the relevant travel agents
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting travel relationships with travel agents in Indonesia
  • Support the achievement of conversion, revenue and margin targets through effective communication and joint marketing activities
  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales
  • Collaborate with internal team to forecast realistic sales goals, track key account metrics and analyse performance in the context of the market, including competitor analysis
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external team
  • Perform sales activities with major accounts, tactical deals and incentives; identify and develop specific plans to maximise revenue growth opportunities in travel agents
  • Assist with prompt resolution of disputes, complaints or issues which are escalated (as needed)
  • Develop performance key account sales teams by establishing training activities, agent gathering events and information, regular visits and consistent communication
  • Prospect for new travel agents and identify opportunities to create new partner agreements
Requirements
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and board of directors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation skills, verbal and written communications skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
  • Experience in Tourism industry as Event Manager, MICE Consultant, MICE Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, Senior Tour/Travel Consultant, Business Development Manager. (No Prior Managerial or Sales experience will be immediately rejected)
  • Both fluent in English and Indonesian native speaker
  • Have University Graduate or Master Degree in Tourism, Business, Sales, or Marketing
  • Energetic, proactive and quick learner
  • MS Office and Internet literate
  • Good organisation skill and have high level of personal presentation
  • Have high energy for Domestic and International Business Trips
